You guys are awesome. I saw you in South Dakota, lifelight festival. I hope you return this year. I found out a few years ago that my heritage is Native American. My father is Sioux and mother, her father is Canadian Indian, and her mother is Navajo. I hope you get in contact with me as we are starting a skate ministry and will be traveling all over with a portable park, including into reservations in South Dakota, and around the area. Our goal is to help the youth stay away from the bad things like drugs and alcohol, and love God, because with God all things are possible. God Bless – Chad
I am so glad to have found out about you – all. I enjoyed your ministry from the the Call Detroit. My wife and I have played it over and over. My heart weeps and bleeds for First Nation People. I am of sicilian / portuguese extraction. My people came 1912 and found their dream to work own property and raise their offspring. We have never faced the poverty or heartache or decimation. I pray in the future God would allow me to in some way help. I pray always for native people. I choke tears to write this note. I know the burden is true.It has been their a long time. Only when I heard you have I thought to say something. Our prayers are with you all.
I was privileged to attend the first 9 hrs. of the Call last weekend. I am from the East side of Cleveland, the city of Euclid specifically. God led me to the Call to see what He was doing in Detroit because of a ministry that I was just called into here in Euclid. About a month ago the Lord gave me a vision in church while the drums were beating during a worship song. I saw the Lord in white garments and a robe of red dancing on the sea of glass over His people. He was bent low and his arms were swaying from side to side. His robe flowed around him as his feet pounded hard on the crystal floor above us. It looked like He was dancing a tribal African dance of some sort. The Lord told me that this was a war dance and He was getting ready to go out before His people and rage war on our behalf.
God reminded me of that vision when your group began worshiping. God wanted to show me that the dance that I watched in my vision was a Native American dance and not an African dance. I believe God was confirming what He is doing on our behalf both in Detroit and in Euclid. May God’s people work to repent, reconcile and forge relationships in response to the Spirit’s prompting. Watched you at the Call last night it was Awesome…just wanted to Thank you for sowing into our state. You have sowed from one end of the Upper Peninsula to the other and now in Detroit. It is like you don’t only go to the Citys but to the highways and byways. Just wanted to tell you that we love you and praying for you and the Ministry. We have 2 CD’s that are solely instrumental in natiure 1) Ohwihsha’s “Healing Wind” CD and 2) Jonathan Maracle’s (solo) “Christmas on Turtle Island” CD, both are availble for order through our website.
